KALITA WAVE #155 RECIPE
Data:
– Brew ratio 1:16,3
– 16 gram coffee
– 250 gram water 92-95°C
– Brew time 2:50 – 3:10 minutes
Equipment:
– Kalita Wave 155 (link)
– Kalita Wave 155 filter (link)
– Barista scale with timer (link)
– Kettle (preferably with gooseneck ) (e.g. Hario Buono)
– Coffee grinder (e.g. DF64 | G-IOTA)

Follow these steps

Weigh 16g of coffee and grind it at grind setting 40-55 with the DF64 | G-IOTA this is a medium-coarse grind size.

Place the filter in the Kalita and wet it, this way you will remove all the flavours and odours contained in the filter.

Put the coffee in the Kalita and tare the scale to 0.

Start the timer and pour 30 to 40g of water over the coffee, making sure all the coffee is wet.

Wait 30 seconds, let the coffee bloom.

After 30 seconds, pour on up to 250g in a circular motion within 70 seconds.

Wait for all the coffee to drain from the filter, how long this takes depends on your grind setting. Aim for 3:00 minutes.

To serve, stir through the coffee and let it cool a little. Enjoy!
