TRICOLATE RECIPE

Data:
– Brew ratio 1:16,7
– 15 gram coffee
– 250 gram water 98°C
– Brew time 3:00 minutes

Equipment:
– Tricolate (link)
– Tricolate filter (link)
– Barista scale with timer (link)
– Kettle (preferably with gooseneck ) (e.g. Hario Buono)
– Coffee grinder (e.g. DF64 | G-IOTA)

Follow these steps

Weigh 15g of coffee and grind it at grind setting 60-85 with the DF64 | G-iota this is a coarse grind size.

Place the filter in the Tricolate and wet it, thus removing all the flavours and odours contained in the filter.

Put the coffee in the Tricolate put it on the scale and tare the scale to 0.

Start the timer and pour 45g of water through the shower strainer over the coffee, making sure all the coffee is wet.

Wait 45 seconds, let the coffee bloom.

After 45 seconds, pour up to 250g of water over the coffee.

Wait for all the coffee to drain out of the Tricolate, how long this takes depends on your grind setting. Aim for 3:00 minutes.

To serve, stir through the coffee and enjoy!
